Wairau River - Marlborough Wine and Food Festival
Established in 1978, by Phil and Chris Rose and today joined by their five children and extended family.  Wairau River (pronounced why-row) takes its name from the beautiful braided river on whose banks Phil and Chris planted their first vines. Located at the top of New Zealand’s South Island, Marlborough’s unique growing conditions produce intensely perfumed and flavoured wines with a true sense of place. Nurturing the skills and talents of each member, Wairau River embodies the Rose family’s strength, individuality and teamwork.
